It of course depend on the specific dahlia variety. Dahlia plants can vary significantly in size, both in terms of height and spread. In height, dahlias can vary between 30 cm (dwarf dahlias) and up to 100 / 120 cm or even more. The dahlia flowers can spread between 30 – 60 cm in width.

Planting other plants together with dahlias can give great benefits such as managing pests and diseases. When selecting companion plants, consider those that share similar growing conditions such as full sun exposure and well-drained soil. Great examples are the cosmos, salvia and lavender.
